It’s obvious that Microsoft and Google have quite a challenge trying to entice users to develop on the Windows Phone and Android platform, since Apple’s iOS has such a strong user base already. Word has been going around the Microsoft has been offering incentives in an effort to bring developers to the Windows Phone platform. How do you think that’s been working out? The incentives might be attractive, but we do know that at least one developer, who has produced many top sellers in the App Store, has declined offers from both Microsoft and Google, apparently because iOS is the only “commercially viable” mobile platform in the current market. We’re talking about Chillingo, the developer who came up with the popular Angry Birds game that has seen over 4 million downloads. Do you think other developers out there will shun Microsoft and Google’s platform in favor of Apple’s iOS?
