We’ve seen Microsoft’s Kinect being offered online for $149.99 for a short while now, though the surprising thing is that Microsoft hasn’t officially confirmed the Kinect’s selling price. That being said, the Kinect has just appeared at Microsoft’s online store, priced at $149.99, which should be a pretty good way of confirming the motion-sensing controller’s price. Strangely enough, Stephen Toulouse, Microsoft’s director of policy and enforcement for Xbox Live has posted a tweet, stating that “all prices now, no matter what the retail source, are placeholders”. Does that include Microsoft’s online store?
