Mushkin Enhanced unveils Callisto deluxe SSD

Mushkin Enhanced has just announced the latest Callisto deluxe Series of Solid State Drives, where improvements thrown into the new model will increase the drives’ IOPS (input/output operations per second) to up to 50,000. This enables the new line of Callisto deluxe SSDs to hit read speeds of up to 285MB/s and write speeds of up to an impressive 275MB/s, whereby it is also assisted by the industry-acclaimed Sandforce SF-1200 controller. They are readily available online at the Mushkin Enhanced website alongside their other online partners, where each purchase will come with a 3-year warranty which is pretty lengthy when you think about it and compare that to its rivals. The Callisto deluxe SSD will come in 60GB, 120GB and 240GB capacities, retailing for $251.26, $425.49 and $766.46, respectively, although the Web price is much lower. SSD prices are still out of reach for many when it comes to high capacity models, so hard drive enthusiasts need not worry about their favorite storage peripheral going out of fashion just yet.
