Unlimited AT&T 3G Data Disappears From iPads, Though It Should Return

The issue of AT&T ditching the unlimited data offer for Apple’s iPad has been a sore point to many, though the good news is that existing subscribers of the unlimited data plan will be able to continue to do so. With that in mind, you can bet many users panicked when AT&T turned off the option of unlimited data on 3G iPads, but the company has moved to calm owners down by confirming that the option will be returning to the menu of iPads that were purchased before June 7th. Many folks were speculating that they would not have the option of using the unlimited data package if they stopped paying for data access, but a new implementation could possibly allow subscribers to resume service with unlimited data at any point. Do you think this whole “unlimited data” deal from carriers is becoming quite tricky?
