E-ink reveals new flexible plastic-based display

E-ink has unveiled a new kind of flexible plastic based E-ink display which will definitely see more action among school-going kids, simply because this form of E-ink display can be used in their electronic textbooks while maintaining a tougher disposition, with kids being kids. This new plastic display will work fine when it comes to full readability regardless of whether you are indoors or outdoors, resulting in near paper quality, a fact that is lost on the Apple iPad. Then again, Apple’s device is not meant to be used by kids in classrooms worldwide, so that’s another different story altogether.
