LG Optimus Q boasts Snapdragon processor

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor is nothing short of speedy as evidenced by the handful of Android-powered smartphones in the market at the moment. LG knows a good thing when they see one, hence their Optimus Q handset will carry the Snapdragon processor as well, and when coupled with other more modern trappings like an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, a touch-sensitive optical trackpad, an accelerometer sensor for auto-rotation duties, 3GB of internal storage, up to 32GB of expandable storage via a microSDHC memory card slot, a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, you can be sure that you have a winner on your hands – specs-wise, at least. Needless to say, with a physical QWERTY keyboard to boot, the LG Optimus Q should make some headway in the high-end Android market which is currently dominated by Motorola and HTC. The LG Optimus Q will retail for around $758 in South Korea, with no word on whether it will arrive Stateside or not.
