US Cellular has confirmed that they will be making the HTC Desire available to the mass market in this part of the world later this year (August, to be exact), alongside the BlackBerry Bold. Not only that, they promise to make available a BlackBerry flip smartphone which will sport a full QWERTY keyboard as well, which could very well be the unorthodox looking 9670, although nothing is concrete just yet. Other devices to make their way to the market from US Cellular for the year would include a couple of Android-powered handsets from LG and Samsung as well. Not iPhone 4 material, but good enough to grab the attention of some people. [Press Release]
