BenQ EW and VW series Vertical Alignment LED monitors

BenQ has just announced its EW and VW series Vertical Alignment (VA) LED monitors which are touted to be the first of its kind in the world, where its VA LED-based panels are touted to offer superior color reproduction, an ultra high contrast ratio, the ability to display blacks more accurately as well as its capability of minimizing light leakage. The BenQ EW series will target digital video enthusiasts more than others since it features a wider range of ports to further enhance the enjoyment of user’s video viewing sans interruption. All VW series monitors will feature DVI, D-Sub, HDMI 1.3 and headphone connectivity options. The VW2420 and EW2420 models will surprisingly hit Taiwan first followed by a worldwide release from the middle of August onwards.
