Microsoft Thinks That Hardcore Gamers Will Adopt The Kinect First?

While Microsoft’s Kinect motion-sensing controller is a very interesting piece of technology, who do you think will be the target market for such a device? Nintendo’s Wii controller managed to lure many casual gamers into the fold, but in a recent interview, Microsoft’s worldwide product marketing manager, Ryan Moore, has said he thinks that hardcore gamers will be the first to go out and buy it. Of course, many cool games such as Halo:Reach, Gears of War, and Fable III were introduced during E3, and it didn’t have anything to do with the Kinect, which seemed to focus on the fun games such as sports and pets. But do you think it will be hardcore gamers, or the casual gamers who will eventually take to the Kinect?
