While most iOS devices out there will be running at least iOS 3.x and above, it’s still worth noting that Apple has announced that apps targeting iOS 2.x will no longer be supported, which does make some sense, since iOS 4.0 is already out. Developers are encouraged to re-build their apps in Xcode and set the target to iOS 3.x or later, so that there will not be any issues with submission or app removal. Do you know of anybody who is still using an iOS 2.x device?
