Flying Car Approved By The Federal Aviation Administration

Flying cars might be a fun novelty, especially if you’ve got $194k to spare, but many folks will be wondering what the FAA (US Federal Aviation Administration) was thinking when it approved the Terrafugia Transition, a street-legal car that can fold out its wings and turn into an airplane, which will now go into production. To make things stranger, you only need about 20 hours of flying time to get a proper license to fly this “aircraft”. Considering the number of road accidents that happen every day, it’s scary to think that folks can easily purchase this and fly it, as long as they have the money. The company claims that 70 people have already dropped a deposit for the car, so you might want to look up (in fear) the next time you see a large shadow loom over you.
