Ads are prevalent everywhere you look, and some others are harder to catch due to their subtleness. YouTube has finally come to see the light by working on a button which lets you skip ads with but a click later this year. It is a win-win situation – after all, if the ad isn’t captivating enough to capture the attention span of viewers, Google won’t charge the advertiser, simple as that. The only clear winner apart from us viewers? The advertising firm employed by companies to come up with a YouTube ad only to have it skipped by its target market. After all, they still get paid, assuming there is no performance-related clause in the agreement.
