Opera 10.6 browser gets WebM support

Opera 10.6 is the first stable version of a browser which will be able to handle WebM videos, alongside support for a host of HTML5 features such as geolocation, Web workers and offline storage, improved JavaScript performance and exterminating over a thousand bugs since Opera 10.54 was released. The Norwegian company is proud to clal it the “the fastest browser on Earth”, but when it comes to the overall browsing experience, its rivals such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer come close in some ways. For those who want to check out other browsers that support WebM videos, the upcoming Firefox 4 beta and Google Chrome 6 Dev Channel fit the bill nicely.
