Not content together with your run of the mill giant rock, soon to be award winning husband Luke Jerram teamed up with an area jewelry designer to create a custom mini-projector wedding ring. And a chorus of ten thousand Awwwwwwws rang out.
Jerram\’s design was inspired by 19th century stanhopes (don\’t worry, I didn\’t know what those were either!), and includes a tiny photographic slide paired with a lens. When illuminated by an equally small light source-Jerram says even a candle will work-the couple may have four adorable images of themselves projected wherever they go. Before you concentrate on commissioning this type of ring to your spouse and playing it off as your individual work, the creator himself has a preemptive message:
\” Congratulations for your engagement! I\’m afraid this ring was a one off, made for my wife. I\’m afraid you\’ll need to make your individual unique ring in your own unique partner!\”

I can only hope my own unique partner never comes across this. Thanks for making us all look bad, Luke! [Luke Jerram via boomaloom via SlashGear]
