I’m going to need to file this one under “Why didn’t I suspect of that?” Camarush took an easy egg timer, modified it to have a tripod mount on the bottom and the tip, and then put their idea up on a web site for sale. Good on ‘em, I say.
The product, called Camalapse, is designed to turn a P&S camera into the final word panorama camera. Just mount the camalapse on a tripod, put the camera on the camalapse, and set your camera to take time-lapse pictures. The timer turns (as egg timers do), as your camera takes pictures, you can then stitch together. For $25, you may’t beat it. Now if they simply made a DSLR version…
