Looks like Microsoft\’s solidified their official partner lineup for this year\’s Windows Phone 7 launch. We\’d already known Samsung and others were inside the mix, but seems like HTC might be pumping out Microsoft-powered handsets in addition.
The Samsung device was sent around for early reviews, that have been cautiously optimistic about Microsoft\’s fresh mobile start. And the Dell Lightning were previously rumored. But this can be the first time we\’ve heard the total official lineup: Samsung, Asus, Dell, HTC, and LG, all bringing Windows Phone 7 phones by the tip of the year.
If anything, this just affirms our keen interest inside the platform. With a minimum of five launch devices, there\’s prone to be a kind factor to suit everyone\’s needs. [Pocket-Lint via Engadget]
