The Mobiola Headset app for the iPhone offers an easy and straightforward method to record VoIP calls. It turns your iPhone into a mobile headset in your desktop PC too.
The app\’s idea is pretty simple: your iPhone becomes a mobile headset (and recorder) for VoIP calls made to your Mac or PC. The style it works is that you just download the Mobiola Headset app to your iPhone and Mobiola\’s desktop application to your desktop and attach both devices to a similar Wi-Fi network to link up. Then, fan the flames of a Skype call and hit the large red record-o button on the app (well, warn the caller you\’re recording them too) and voila, you\’ll get saved audio files of your call. It\’s dead easy.
However, in case you\’re not curious about recording calls, it\’s probably better to just use the Skype app on the iPhone. No use to run in circles. $1.99 [Mobiola, iTunes]
