Looks as if the HTC Evo is practically getting some 4G company. The Samsung SCH-R900 has been cleared for landing by the FCC, and is predicted to be out by the tip of the year.
The device will come from MetroPCS, and may contain a 1700/1900 MHz LTE radio, Wi-Fi, and bluetooth and may be CDMA-compatible in addition. More details-operating system, hardware specs-aren\’t available yet. But LTE networks might be coming online soon, and it\’s reassuring to understand we\’ll actually have phones which could take advantage. [PhoneScoop via BGR]
