Yes, Foleo fans, you read right. In step with a recently filed patent uncovered by Unwired View, Palm continues to be exploring the assumption of a palmtop device with a detachable, dockable cellphone component.
The patent is admittedly for a streamlined, updated take on the Foleo: a palmtop computer that houses a detachable, voice-only component (so you don’t should hold the entire honking thing up for your head).
The two pieces would remain connected via Bluetooth, though you’d control everything throughout the palmtop, which differs from some earlier visions of the Foleo through which the detachable module was a more fully-functioning smartphone. After all , this might well be one of several many patents that continues to be just that, but no less than we now have some reason to start out dreaming that stunning Foleo dream once more.
