OK, well this sounds awesome. Time Warner is currently developing an iPad app that could let customers stream live TV in addition as on-demand TV directly to the device.
The app also acts as a remote control on your cable box, complete with fancy-pants channel guide, just like the app Xfinity is working on.
But the best stuff is what they’re talking about building into the app, like starting a show on the TV and then finishing it on the iPhone or iPad.
It’s still in development, but this feels like it has the aptitude to be pretty awesome when it’s eventually released. [CNET]
