Here’s a comforting truth: a better time your gadgets make you angry enough to pout, stomp, and scream, know that you simply’re not alone. In truth, you’re within the majority.
A recent survey by Harris Interactive showed that 60% of usa citizens were driven to yell or swear at a gadget out of frustration. Which frankly seems a little bit low, given what percentage times a day I believe like this:

The condition is named ” Hourglass Syndrome,” a term coined by Intel and loosely defined as the agony inherent in anticipating our gadgets to quit stalling. 62% of us swear or yell, 29% resort to physical abuse of mouses, and 24% slap around our screens. Me? I’m in that 1% that turns bright green and just breaks stuff. It can not be cost effect, nevertheless it sure is cathartic. [GigaOM]
