Wall-mounted iPod docks were around for a long time, but either they’re from really cheap plastic-y companies, or covered in Swarvoski crystals and price thousands of greenbacks . Pioneer’s KODO XW-NAW1 slides in somewhere in between, at £199 (about $300).
As it’s made to be stuck on a wall, Pioneer’s kept it slim at 83mm thick, but there’s also a matching stand if table-mounting is more your style.
Compatible with iPhones and iPods, the 30W stereo speaker has touch sensor controls and fees docked iDevices-even outputting video due to the component video port. On sale inside the UK from September, it’ll cost £199-international launch details expected soon. [ Pioneer ]
