HP is set to pay $55 million which will settle claims that it defrauded the united states government. Apparently the computer giant’s accused of offering kickbacks on the way to make sure that its products were purchased by government agencies.

This can’t really be the greatest of reports for the company, especially considering the most recent and somewhat scandalous departure of former CEO Mark Hurd . [ AFP ]
