Microsoft Research: Buttons Beat Multitouch Mouse [Microsoft] Microsoft conducted some exhaustive research into some great benefits of multitouch-enabled desktop mice over traditional desktop mice. And discovered there aren’t really any benefits at serious about most users, who prefer the velocity offered by mechanical buttons and wheels.
