Among many other new features, Apple is including Netflix support straight into their new Apple TV . Ultimately, they’re getting the message: It’s not all about their iTunes store. That’s good.
The truth is that many of us don’t care at all in regards to the iTunes store-although maybe the $1-per-TV-episode in HD, without commercials, will fix this. The Netflix support, however, is a giant point of fashion of the Apple TV, the same as it was for the iPad. Surely, this will be the explanation why I’m finally getting this kind of little boxes.
Next thing it is advisable to do, Steve: Hulu. And the Apple Store, on the way to add a DiVX playback application or whatever the hell we would like.
Then, and only then, you may have a killer TV product.
