We know that Apple’s holding a music-related event tomorrow , but now we’re reading that Sony will try and steal the show from it. In keeping with the Financial Times , Sony will likely be announcing a music service of its own:

Sources within the media industry told the Financial Times that Sony would use its PlayStation games consoles as the start line for a new service that users will probably be ready to use across a number of other internet-connected devices. That may include Walkman music players, Vaio computers, Bravia TVs, Blu-ray players and Sony Ericsson cellphones.

Guess we’ll need to wait until tomorrow to peer what happens. [ FT ]
