Samsung Confirms Honeycomb Will Follow Gingerbread in Android Name-Game [Android]

Samsung Confirms Honeycomb Will Follow Gingerbread in Android Name-Game [Android] Not just confirming the Honeycomb name , Samsung’s head of product planning commented that ” the following platform we’ll be using [on the Galaxy Tab ] will likely be Gingerbread. Counting on our international partners, we’ll be working to upgrade from Froyo to Gingerbread.”

Speaking to TechRadar , WP Hong from Samsung said that ” moving forward, with Honeycomb, that may be used inside the next generation tablet, as it can be specifically optimized for different sort of tablet, and may be used on another product only.”

Got to love loose-lipped product managers, particularly on the subject of unannounced Android flavors. [ TechRadar ]
