There’s an exceedingly attractive job going at Google, with the company looking for someone to move up its Music launch later this year. Meanwhile, Android dude Andy Rubin is working with the team closely, and even meeting with record labels.
Why Rubin? Well, we was the brains behind Android (with Google buying Android from him and hiring him in 2005), and it’s believed their Music service will probably be tied closely with Android. It’s expected to launch by the tip of the year, coinciding with the Gingerbread Android release.
They better shake a leg and join some record labels, if what Reuters is reporting is right. [ Reuters ]
