Twitter is currently within the final stages of testing push notifications in its iPhone app, pending an entire activation of the feature inside the next iOS release. In line with TechCrunch, users with iOS 4.1 and its updated Twitter client might be ready to enable the feature, bringing them closer still to the dream of full integration with the web hive mind.
