After Oracle CEO Larry Ellison blasted HP for ousting disgraced CEO Mark Hurd , he reportedly did what comes naturally to men of his stature and disposition: He offered the fellow a role.

This is what Reuters is reporting today, although details are spotty and the source is unnamed. Allegedly, a final decision on the job offer has not been made (by either party?). We will be able to only assume proper expense reporting and sensitivity training are among the various sticking points. [ Reuters ]
