Yesterday afternoon, ” Skyscraper Man” Dan Goodwin, sometimes called Spider Dan, climbed the 58-story Millennium Tower in San Francisco to lift awareness for terrorism and cancer. Spider Dan’s process of conveyance: suction cups, after all.
Yesterday’s climb took three hours in all, though Goodwin was replenished along the style by cups of water provided by the tower’s residents. Local police arrested Spider Dan immediately after the climb for trespassing and being a public nuisance, though he was later released.
The 54-year-old climber has previously scaled the Sears Tower in Chicago and the realm Trade Center in Manhattan, drawing attention to the undeniable fact that skyscrapers are still liable to terrorist attacks.
