At those prices, and with the sort of volume potential China represents, you’re observing big business for Apple.
Then again, I believed China had the iPad months ago , didn’t they? Regardless, Apple promises that ” many more” countries will get the iPad ” later this year.” So hold tight, Moldova! Some time will come.
iPad Wi-Fi Models Available in China on September 17

iPad Wi-Fi models in China will likely be available for a suggested retail price of CNY3988 for 16GB, CNY4788 for 32GB and CNY5588 for 64GB. iPad might be sold in China through Apple’s Retail Stores, and select Apple Authorized Resellers.
iPad will roll out to many more countries later this year and Apple will announce availability and local pricing for these additional countries at a later date.
