The distraught looking gentleman above was portion of a Navy experiment that subjected individuals to intense wind speeds of up to 300 miles per hour. At the least they were courteous enough to give goggles.

This experimental scene, straddling the line between adorableness and torture, aimed to work out what would happen to cats if they hung the wrong way up for extended periods. There isn’t a followup image within the gallery, but we are guessing the consequences were not pleasant.
