Once we tried out iOS 4.2 Beta 2 on our iPads, we didn’t spot anything of interest. But when some European iPad 3G owners took a close take a look at their settings menus, they saw something very curious: A tethering option.
The option appears like the only we see on our iPhones and was discovered on an iPad 3G running on 3′s network in Europe. We silly AT&T customers don’t appear to have an analogous option in our settings, so we’re wondering when and to whom iPad 3G tethering might be available. [ 9to5Mac ]
