Herb Trimpe’s cutaway map from 1982′s G.I. Joe #4 illustrated The Pit in ridiculous detail. My favorite embellishment is the undeniable fact that the hologram room receives no explanation, but the motor pool and its ” lube jobs” get a whole paragraph.
