Geometric Clothes Fold Into Futuristic Outfits With A large number of Creases [Video]

Geometric Clothes Fold Into Futuristic Outfits With A large number of Creases [Video] i’ll say something as lame as ” , we’ll all be wearing these clothes,” but I suspect you know the reality. You know we’ll really seem like this . Still, many of the designs are really something else, aren’t they?

Created using 3D modeling, the 10 designs were created by the Japanese dressmaker Issey Miyake , who’s known for pretty avant garde stuff (in keeping with my less-nerdy friends). The pieces of cloth fold down flat, but were designed to within a cm of its material, in order to be picked up and slung over bodies in ” stylish” dresses, shirts and trousers.

On show at Miyake’s flagship store ” 132 5. Issey Miyake” that’s opening this autumn, it’s an excellent collision of mathematics and fashion, but, erm, I feel I’ll keep on with my blogger’s wardrobe of pyjama pants and cardigan for now. [ Dezeen ]
