Old Lady’s Mobility Scooter Pimped to Race 88km/h Faster [Transport]

Old Ladys Mobility Scooter Pimped to Race 88km/h Faster [Transport] Colin isn’t just a normal hooligan who rode off into the sunset with some granny’s mobility scooter and the fortnight’s grocery shopping (mmm, cereal). He actually pimped the petrol scooter so it is able to drag-race at 111km/h.

The Brit is in consideration for a Guinness World Record, if he manages to surpass speeds of 100km/h, which he says he can just do fine. However, he’s holding an official time test soon to get his name into the book, for posterity’s sake. When Colin bought the scooter, it was cruising at speeds of just 12km/h, but now he can overtake grannies and cars when pulling out of nursing home carparks. And look stylish in tweed when doing so, too. [ Daily Mail ]
