Salesman Pete and The superb Stone From Outer Space. When you have to observe a video during lunch at the office today, this is often it. Seven minutes of pure animation bliss, with essentially the most exquisite use of 3D I’ve ever seen.

The atmosphere, the pace, the action… and in addition the proper rendering to make it seem like pure airbrushed, hand-drawn 2D animation. Marc Bouyer, Max Loubaresse, and Anthony Vivien-in addition as musician Cyrille Marchesseau and sound designer Mael Vignaux-should all get an Oscar and jobs at Pixar. [ Salesmanbuck -Thanks Woltz!]
