It might be hard to convince me to shell out $80 for Asus’s WX-DL wireless touch mouse before actually holding one-I’m having flashbacks to another circular input puck here-but I will be able to always respect a firm trying something weird.
And weird it’s-the aluminum 2.4 GHz WX-DL has a round body that’s tilted up within the back, presumably so its butt fills your palm more naturally, and a marginally sensitive circle inlaid on its top, taking into consideration quick four way scrolling besides the regular mouse action courtesy of the 1200 dpi laser sensor. The end touch pad also doubles as a hard and fast of multimedia controls.
I don’t know the way it will feel on your hand, nevertheless it does not look bad in your desk. The WX-DL works with Windows machines, 2000 – Windows 7, and is out there now for $80. [ Asus via Engadget ]
