The Android Market doesn’t have anywhere near the vetting process that the App Store does. That’s great for openness, but sometimes some bad apple slip through. Like this recently banned text message forwarding app, Secret SMS Replicator .
It was only available to buy for approximately 18 hours, and it’s gone as of Wednesday. Good that Google bans malicious apps! But somewhat dicey knowing that it got through within the first place. [ Switched via T3 ]
