New Sucker Punch trailer delivers robots, dragons and sexy lady fights [Video]

New Sucker Punch trailer delivers robots, dragons and sexy lady fights [Video] Zack Snyder released another trailer for his fetish stylegasm Sucker Punch. Watch as a team of leather-clad heroines fight all kinds of genre monsters, from Nazis to dragons.

Like all things Snyder, it is a gorgeous trailer. But the basis gets a wee bit lost within the collage of bewilderment. So here’s the most recent synopsis that was just released last month:

Sucker Punch is an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the last word escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the limits of time and place, she is free to head where her mind takes her, but her incredible adventures blur the lines between what’s real and what is imaginary…with potentially tragic consequences.

Ok, that’s still a tremendous vague, here’s another run-down from Comic Con:

Set within the 1950s, Sucker Punch follows Babydoll (Emily Browning) who is confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines another reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to aid get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man.

As you may read and spot it’s a fairly complex story. We realize it’s going to be gorgeous, but we’re really hoping the guts of the story isn’t lost behind the awesome Orks and robots…
