My good buddy Alexander Pick is set to release the total Quake 3 Arena for iPad today, with on-screen key controls, adore it must be. You may play offline and online, and add levels through iTunes file sharing, using drag-and-drop.

It runs smoothly at 1024 x 768, despite the 4.2 beta, and it looks great, especially in case you download the high resolution texture files from here . The one requirement: Jailbreaking your iPad (that is easy and painless).

The application needs to be available throughout the following couple of hours in Cydia, and you may get support and the GPL code at [ Paduser ]
