Flying in coach-not that comfortable. Flying in coach and using a laptop-even less comfortable. Ben Heck’s hacked laptop, with a screen that swings around on stilts-more comfortable, and a hell of a good suggestion.

The screen fully detaches from the body of the laptop-though it may be used normall when you’d like-and might be swung upwards and forward, avoiding contact with the jerk sitting in front of you. We imagine this could be useful while riding the rails too, for you Amtrak warriors. Laptop manufacturers: this can be actually a completely cool and useful design idea. Maybe watch out?
