OK Go to put in writing Their Name Across LA Using iPhone’s GPS [Ok Go]

OK Go to put in writing Their Name Across LA Using iPhones GPS [Ok Go] They’re shilling for Range Rover ‘s new iPhone app here, but fans of their crazy stunts (who happen to live in LA) should download the free app and follow their massive GPS parade this Wednesday.

The plan is to trawl the streets of l. a. carrying their instruments (while hapless workers trail after with amplifiers), spelling out ” OK Go ” in letters larger than the Hollywood sign. Range Rover has signed the band up to promote their Pulse of town app, which creates colorful maps of the user’s movement using the iPhone’s GPS.

Does anyone plan on following OK Go this Wednesday? Yes? I am hoping it rains. [ iTunes via Hello Evoque ]
