Get a 16GB Wi-Fi iPad For Just $399 at Some T.J. Maxx and Marshalls Locations [Dealzmodo]

Get a 16GB Wi-Fi iPad For Just 9 at Some T.J. Maxx and Marshalls Locations [Dealzmodo] Apparently some T.J. Maxx and Marshalls spots are selling 16GB WiFi iPads for just $399 starting this week. Yes, you read that right-that first number’s a 3. This can be a good buy, people!

While the savings spree isn’t exactly 100% official, reports had been cropping up that T.J. Maxx and Marshalls locations across the country are carrying iPads (random) for the low low price of $399.99 (even more random). T.J. Maxx’s Twitter confirmed that the sale’s happening at some ” unadvertised” locations:

At this point, it’s not clear if it is just a limited thing or if it’ll expand to all locations, but if I had to guess I’d say it’s the former. Nobody’s quite clear how or why T.J. Maxx is shaving a fab $100 off the iPad’s price ticket, but I doubt anyone’s complaining about it either. As details are somewhat sketchy at this point, it’s probably worth calling your local T.J. Maxx or Marshalls before you race over to determine if they have got any in stock. But still, a great deal worth calling your local T.J. Maxx and racing over to buy one. [ MacRumors and Engadget ]
