Veteran CG artist Jim Kazanjian has put together a superb series of insane, somewhat terrifying composite scenes, like something out of an extended, apocalyptic nightmare. Crumbling buildings, flaming wreckage-the pictures are gorgeously broken, but we’re glad they’re fakes.
The images incorporate hundreds of faded snapshots, but brought on by Kazanjian’s digital trickery, it’s nearly impossible to search out seams within the spooky worlds he’s generated. Though we wouldn’t expect any less from the fellow-he’s done CGI work for TV, film, and videogames. [ Jim Kazanjian via DesignBoom ]
