Richard Branson Sees Murdochs iPad Newspaper, Raises Him an iPad Magazine [Ipad] Freewheeling, swashbucking business tycoon Richard Branson , never to be outdone by the stodgy, old media tycoon Rupert Murdoch , has announced plans for his own tailor-made iPad Magazine , following within the footsteps of Murdochs plans to launch an iPad-exclusive newspaper .

As for details…well there aren’t so many. Branson, head honcho of the Virgin empire, plans to unveil his plans for the publication at a press conference in NYC next tuesday, and claims that it’ll cover” entertainment, travel, business, design, and international culture,” which totally isn’t a generic description at all. It’s still unknown whether it will likely be iPad-exclusive or not. But so long as the magazine has a new photospread of Branson kiteboarding with a naked girl on his back each month, I’m sure it’ll be aces. [ AFP ]
