Apps are what really make our devices shine, so we’re going to begin highlighting one we adore here, daily. Today’s App of the Day: Momento , a pretty journal in your iPhone.
What is it?
Momento, iPhone, $3 . A handsome journaling app for chronicling your entire observations, musings, and internet activities inside the day. You are able to jot down notes, snap photos, or automatically pipe in a number of feeds (Twitter, Flickr, Facebook, etc.), all of which can be organized neatly and may be viewed by day, month, tag, and so forth.
Who’s it good for?
People who like the thought of keeping a journal. Or those that wake up and say, ” what the hell did I do yesterday?” Or those that have anxiety concerning the general transience of the web age.
Why’s it better than alternatives?
It’s gorgeous, that’s important for the act of journaling (nobody faithfully dictates their innermosts secrets to the back of a napkin); it just got a big update adding support for a ton of latest feeds, a landscape keyboard, better export options, and more.
How could or not it’s even better?
For something like this to essentially root itself into my life it should sync to the cloud-either to a Momento site or just push out a technique to a Google Doc or something. It also could stand to load a touch snappier (gotta capture those fleeting insights) and would probably take advantage of a universal search once those moments start piling up.
You may grab Momento inside the App Store for $3.
