Baby’s First Social Media Network [Video]

Babys First Social Media Network [Video] Apparently it’s never too early to coach your kids about gadgets , technology, and social media . Or as a minimum that’s the impression I get from this toy block-powered social media network concept.

The idea is dubbed IOBR and basically includes a gaggle of toy blocks and a box for each child:

The actual status update is completed by placing the best block in its designated place on the box. For instance, an ” eating” update is shipped by placing the square block with the ” plate, spoon, fork” -icon inside the square-shaped hole on top of the box. This leads to the illumination of the corresponding status light on the friend’s device.

Seems simple enough, but I truly wonder whether a tot cares more about his friend’s status than he does about his own diaper needing changing. [ PassiRipatti via FastCoDesign ]

This tallies… »

Word in the street is ViewSonic's on the brink of unveil a fresh, ICS-equipped 7-inch tablet at MWC (together with everyone else). The ViewPad G70, which might be a follow-as much as that budget-friendly E70 we showed you at CES, is rumored to hold a touch heavier $350 price ticket than its sibling. While the slate's best feature might be Google's 4.0 treat , ViewSonic's… »
