This pretty steampunk record player is pretty clever: it’s actually powered by a steam engine. One problem though? That steam engine makes it sound horrible. Here’s what it feels like:

Yes, it’s a steam powered record player. Playing a punk LP. The Sex Pistols – God save the Queen (Victoria obviously). You may’t really get more steam, or punk, than that! And yes, I comprehend it sounds terrible.

At least he knows it! The project started when he decided to build a small steam engine from parts he found in his garage. If he could have the capacity to create this from spare parts in a garage, well, damn, that should be one helluva garage. [ Asciimation via Laughing Squid ]
